Genre – Puzzle / Maze Games
The Puzzle genre defines video games that emphasize solving puzzles. Generally thought of as a game that tests your wit as opposed to your reflexes, puzzle games can involve the use of sequencing, memorization, logic, and of course much strategy.
The maze genre is similar to the puzzle genre in the sense that much strategy is required. Many maze games require the use of puzzles or problem solving in order to get through the maze, so the 2 genres typically go hand-in-hand.
