Each year, WWE fans flock towards the latest WWE video game release from publisher 2K in order to live vicariously through the digital representations of their favorite WWE Superstars, and dominate their competition.

But never before have players had the chance to terminate their WWE foes.

All that is set to change this year with 2K’s announcement that none other than the Terminator himself, Arnold Schwarzenegger will reprise his iconic role in the upcoming WWE 2K16.

“Arnold Schwarzenegger is a living legend with universal appeal, a perseverance for greatness and a strong relationship with WWE, including his recent Hall of Fame induction, all of which make him an incredible fit for WWE 2K16,” said Chris Snyder, Vice President of Marketing at 2K via a press release.

Two different versions of Schwarzenegger’s T -800 character will be offered to WWE 2K16 players as a pre-order incentive. One will be based off the original Terminator film and the second will be based off the follow-up, Terminator 2: Judgement Day.

Schwarzenegger was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame earlier this year, as part of the lead-up to Wrestlemania XXXI, and lead to this rather cheesy entrance from WWE COO Triple H, prior to his match with iconic WCW grappler Sting, at this year’s big event.

You can get your chance to step into the ring with Arnold Schwarzenegger when WWE 2K16 comes out on October 27th, 2015 for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Xbox 360.
