Exclusive Mario Amiibo with Mario Party 10
Nintendo has ushered in quite the phenomenon with its series of Amiibo figures. Within less than a week of their introduction it would seem that production numbers had slipped and the frenzy began. Since then, Amiibo have continued to trickle out, with some easier to find than others. Many of the rarest from the first wave – such as Pitt, Little Mac, Marth, and Villager – are up to $70 and $80 asking prices over at Amazon. Even the latest batch from late February is producing its own rarities, including Ike and King Dedede.
And on March 20th, we can expect another wave, which in addition to new characters will give us old characters in new poses. If you’re trying to keep up with as many Amiibo as you can, one thing you can do for yourself is preorder Mario Party 10 with Mario Amiibo. It’s doubtful that this Mario will be available otherwise; the real question is just how rare will this bundle be? Either way, I’m not taking any chances. Plus, it’s a pretty good deal. Mario Party 10 alone is only $49.99. With the exclusive Mario Amiibo, it comes up to $59.99. That’s the retail price of a regular game, plus, Amiibo generally retail for about $12.99, so any way you slice it, it’s a reasonably cost effective insurance policy.
Who knows, the exclusive Mario may end up being as ubiquitous as figures like Kirby and Pikachu, but if you’ve had any experience collecting Amiibo so far, you know that the time to buy them is when you can.
Preorder your copy now at your local GameStop (be sure to ask for the version with Mario in it since there’s a standalone version as well) or visit their website and order the bundle!
