Aaero: Complete Edition May Finally Shine on Nintendo Switch

Aaero: Complete Edition May Finally Shine on Nintendo Switch

If there is one extraordinary thing that the release of the Nintendo Switch has done since it’s March 2017 debut, it’s the system’s ability to breathe new life into quality independent titles.

There have been numerous cases where games that had previously been released on other platforms suddenly saw an explosion in sales and interest after being ported to Nintendo’s portable hybrid.

With any luck, there will be another chapter added to the Switch indie developer success story: Aaero.

You’ll be forgiven if you missed out on the release of  the rhythmic shooter Aaero back in April of 2017. Can’t say that anyone would blame you, given that we were all knee-deep in some of the best games of the generation at that time. Even one title like Horizon: Zero Dawn, Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Nier: Automata, Persona 5, or Nioh would cast a tremendous shadow over a smaller release; let alone having all of those titles arriving throughout the same 3 month period.

While it may not have been added to the general lexicon of the gaming populace at the time upon its debut on PC, PS4, and Xbox One, Aaero still earned excellent scores from a variety of gaming outlets.

Now, Aaero is set to be reborn on the Nintendo Switch thanks to the Aaero: Complete Edition!

Featuring 21 different levels of pulse-pounding, musical shooting action to licensed tracks from artists like The Prototypes, Flux Pavilion, and more, Aaero: Complete Edition will also include all of the DLC content that has released throughout the year since the game’s original release.

Be sure to check out the pre-launch trailer below, and then get ready to shoot to the music when Aaero: Complete Edition launched for Nintendo Switch on December 24th.
