New 13 Minute Gameplay of Rise of the Tomb Raider Showcases Syria

New 13 Minute Gameplay of Rise of the Tomb Raider Showcases Syria

This year’s Gamecom has given us another look at the upcoming Tomb Raider game, Rise of the Tomb Raider. Instead of Lara kicking ass in the Siberian Wilderness, we see Lara doing what she does best-tomb raiding!

Syria02In the new gamaplay footage we see Lara Croft cruising down the hot mountainside of Syria with an unknown driver. Of course, it doesn’t take long for the game’s antagonists, Trinity, to arrive and force Lara back on her feet and into survival mode.

Like the previous gameplay clips, Rise of the Tomb Raider looks like it will be taking full advantage of the graphical capabilities of the 8th generation consoles to truly make Lara and her exploits look their best.

The specific tomb in the gameplay demo shows us how Lara will be able to use the enviroment (specifically water in this case) in order to help her solve puzzles and further platform. We also get to see her kick more ass as she escapes the crumbling tomb at the end.

From the glorious cinematic visuals to the platforming action, this new gameplay demo is sure convince anyone still on the fence to check out Rise of the Tomb Raider. Check out the new gameplay and let us know what you think in the comment section below.

And be sure to stick around Nerd Bacon as more news comes out about the newest part in this beloved franchise! And check it out once it drops onto Xbox One and Xbox 360 on November 10th, 2015 as well as PC and PlayStation 4 consoles next year.
