Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Wildlands is Revealed! – E3 2015
Let’s face it, Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon hasn’t been the greatest as of late, but it is a beloved franchise nonetheless. It was definitely time for a new entry. Closing out the Ubisoft press conference, CEO Yves Guillemot revealed to the world the newest entry in the Ghost Recon series…let’s meet Ghost Recon: Wildlands.
Wildlands is a purely open world game set in Bolivia, with absolutely no main game script whatsoever. According to developers Ubisoft Paris, Wildlands is a completely non-linear game that will play however the player chooses. Warning to the wise though, your choices will severely affect the game later down the line.
In regards to game play, players will be able to play Wildlands either single player or co-op with up to three other players. Developers claim that Wildlands is the largest open world game that Ubisoft has created and will be able to traverse the world in a variety of different vehicles such as helicopters, motorcycles, and various cars, just to name a few.
Now when will we be able to play Ghost Recon: Wildlands? While the game has been in development for around three years, it is not ready for release just yet. Wildlands is still being currently developed for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Ubisoft has been on fire with their E3 2015 releases this year and what a way to end the press conference.
