Super Punch Out!! is a game that I played way back, on my knees just two feet from the screen. It was a great experience to play at that age – with its large colorful, fluid sprites, boisterous rowdy crowd complete with camera flashes, memorable voices, and the juiciest punching sound effects… Plus, it taught me early on how to approach a game defensively and with legitimate strategy. It’s an absolutely phenomenal SNES classic that is absolutely worth revisiting to once again face off against the 16 iconic boxers.
