Monster Party – NES
Monster Party has got to be one of the quirkiest games for the original NES. With a bizarre premise and storied past involving edits, censorship, and copyright infringement, it may just be one of the more popular obscure games. It’s not quite perfect, but NES fans owe it to themselves to give this offbeat platformer a playthrough.

Discworld – PlayStation
Discworld is not only a charming and powerful fantasy series made by the prolific (and late) Sir Terry Pratchett, it’s also a multi-platform point-and-click adventure game from 1995! In the PS1 version, we look at its scripted highs and gameplay lows in an effort to appreciate the great author’s influence, even if the game itself could be better.

Sidemeat – 10th Slice
Ten issues into Sidemeat – is that a whole package yet? – and we get to my lengthy assessment of One Tree Hill, one of the longest running teen dramas ever.
-
Airwolf – Nintendo Entertainment System
Airwolf is a terrific disaster that is plagued by poor controls, a worse map, and a notion that could have worked. Lets admit that Airwolf was cool. However, the game falls flat and leaves us wanting less, much less!

With the death of couch co-op nigh, many gamers are looking on the back of every game case in their local GameStop for the elusive phrase “Local: 1-2 Players” to no avail. Sidemeat – 9th Slice
Here’s a tuna salad most people have never heard of. It’s best described as “ranch tuna salad,” and the ingredients might seem a little strange, but it all comes together in an unexpected way. Even if the recipe seems weird, tuna salad fans should definitely give it a shot.

Sidemeat – 8th Slice
Check out my marginally famous recipe for macaroni and cheese! It sports an amazing combination of 7 cheeses: cheddar, gruyere, fontina, parmesan, asiago, sharp provolone, and pecorino! Oh, and did I mention it has…bacon…?

Punch-Out!! – NES
Take a trip down memory lane when LifeShowChris reviews an oldie but goodie. If the review is a knockout, the game certainly is. A wonderful piece of boxing nostalgia featuring a David vs. Goliath style battle to the bitter end. So if you have some time checkout LifeShowChris’ review of Mike Tyson’s Punch-Out!!

Battletoads – Sega Genesis
Battletoads is a game that will forever live in infamy for its unusually sinister difficulty. Ever beat the game? Then you ought to be given an award – something on par with the Nobel Peace Prize should to do. Anyway, this is a game that drives many to opposing sides; some love Battletoads, some can’t stand it. Some may view it as just another forgettable Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles wannabe franchise. Whatever stance you may take on The Great Battletoads Debate, ZB is going to ride this 16-bit wave to bring you his verdict – and on the Sega Genesis, no less.
