Music & Rhythm Games – Brought Back from the Dead
A few years ago, Guitar Hero and Rock Band introduced the world to whole new way to play videos and listen to music…at the same time! Now nearly 5 years since their disappearance, both series are planning for a late 2015 reemergence. The upcoming Guitar Hero, Guitar Hero Live, is offering up a complete overhaul of the standing formula while the next Rock Band, Rock Band 4, is working hard to support their existing library of over 2,000 songs. How will it all “play” out? Get the latest news and find out what this Guitar Hero/Rock Band fanatic has to say about these new developments.

This slice of Sidemeat answers one of today’s great YouTube questions: who’s funnier, The Key of Awesome (Barely Political) or Bart Baker?

Borderlands: The Handsome Collection – Xbox One
With a completely absurd amount of content, Borderlands: The Handsome Collection includes the definitive versions of Borderlands 2 and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, but players who already have the games might not find it worth the price tag for games they already own.

Sidemeat – 14th Slice
The first ABCs of Death anthology was an uneven collection of shorts at best, but ABCs of Death 2 ups the quality considerably with a number of chilling, unnerving, and downright bizarre worthwhile segments. Take a look and see how I ranked all 26 of them!

Sidemeat – 7th Slice
Lost is one of my favorite TV shows, but with such intricately woven storylines, it’s easy to spot things that have slipped through the cracks. I’ve grown more forgiving of these mistakes after repeat viewings, but like any show, it still has its ups and downs. Stop by and tell us how you feel as well!

Nihilumbra – PC
Nihilumbra is a very touching platformer that takes you through the world in the eyes of Born, a creature made out of pure nothingness that wants to know what it means to really live. Using a creative color mechanic and introducing new puzzles and obstacles at a comfortable pace, the only thing more impressive than the gameplay is the powerful narrative that gives this game its structure.

Sidemeat – 4th Slice
Digging deep into nerdom, I take a look a deck I created for Magic the Gathering which I dubbed Eldrazi Family Reunion. The idea was to use as many Eldrazi as possible along with a basic Tooth and Nail strategy to put them on the field quickly. Anyone interested in MtG or those that might have enough card knowledge to answer some of my questions should definitely give this a read!

Sidemeat – 1st Slice
I’m not a huge fan of indie rock in general, though Strange Desire’s blend of layered electronica, sincere indie attitude, and a revitalized take on 80’s nu-wave all comes together in a magnificent way. This music may not be for everyone, but it’s sure to resonate strongly with those who enjoy the odd synergy that Bleacher has achieved.
