Many kart-racing games were disregarded as Mario Kart 64 ripoffs before people ever gave them a chance. While some might claim Crash Team Racing has similar traits to Mario Kart 64, nobody can claim that the game isn’t pure fun and enjoyment. -

Turok Evolution – GameCube
The Turok series sees a fantastic update in Acclaim Entertainment’s first Turok release on the brand new and impressive 6th generation consoles. Turok: Evolution is a prequel to the first Turok: Dinosaur Hunter game with updated controls, graphics, and gameplay. While the story mode is still the bread and butter of the franchise, Turok: Evolution’s multiplayer mode makes excellent use of 13 maps and a 4-player split screen. The days of Turok 64 are long gone.

Civilization V: Complete Edition – PC
If you’re looking for a turn-based city-builder strategy game with a long list of playable characters, an expansive bank of scenarios and worlds, and a gameplay worthy of multiple hours per day, I highly recommend this game. If you’re looking for a casual game with constant action and flawless local and online multiplayer, perfect for car rides or parties with friends, I highly recommend this game.
