Octodad: Dadliest Catch Gets Reeled Onto New Platforms
Young Horses quirky “dad simulator” Octodad: Dadliest Catch will be spreading its tentacles to other systems this summer. Today the developer confirmed that Octodad: Dadliest Catch will arrive on Xbox One this summer.
“Today we’re pleased to say we’re doing just that! You’ll be able to get your hands on the premier fatherhood simulator this Summer on Xbox One.”
On March 4th Young Horses announced that they were teaming up with Panic Button to bring Octodad: Dadliest Catch to the Wii U.
For those uninitiated, Octodad: Dadliest Catch tells a charming tale of a love-struck octopus who poses as a human-being in order to live his life with the woman he loves. All is not candy and roses for our hero however. A crazed chef has been trying to hunt down Octodad so he can expose Octodad’s ruse, and maybe make some tasty sushi in the process.
Yours truly reviewed the PC version of Octodad: Dadliest Catch last year. I found the off-the-wall premise and imaginative use of movement and control to be charming, and well worth your time. You can read my full review right here.
No solid ground has been found as far as a release date yet.
