Yes, Mass Effect is finally back. Announced as the opening of Electronic Art’s E3 conference, Mass Effect 4 has finally been given a title and release date. Now known as Mass Effect: Andromeda, EA declares that fans will be able to pick up a copy during the 2016 holiday season.
After opening with Johnny Cash’s “Riders in the Sky” you could say the Baconeers are excited. The trailer shows an unknown N7-armored soldier as he navigates a galactic map. He selects a planet in the Andromeda galaxy and descends to the surface, taking control of the series signature Mako vehicle. While the main character’s face has not been shown yet, there are many ideas floating around.
Mass Effect Andromeda is currently being developed by BioWare Montreal and we are excited to see a polished finished version of Andromeda next year. Be sure to check out the official trailer below.

HOLY! One of my favorite series is returning! THANK YOU BIOWARE, YOU GODS OF EVERYTHING!
I’ll reiterate what I said on Twitter. HOLY FUDGE MONKEYS!!!!!
I definitely was not expecting any major Mass Effect news. I was like, this is the first Mass Effect game that interested me. DAMN YOU EA!
I was expecting something Mass Effect related but I didn’t expect for EA to open with it. I was tweeting that the stream was starting when I just happened to look over and saw that it was a Mass Effect trailer. I made some very high pitched noises . . .
I was like Johnny Cash? What the hell? Then it looked like something Destiny related until I saw the N-7 Armor.
