Yesterday, Bethesda Softwork’s official website revealed a countdown clock in the style of their Fallout series that would end at 10am today. Well, Nerd Bacon is here to tell you the scoop on what happened at the end of that countdown!
When the clock finally hit zero, nothing happened. Well, immediately. And every minute the screen would go black and the “Please Stand By” screen would refresh itself.
And then when I refreshed at 10:09 this screen occured:
And attempting to get to refresh again got me this:
That’s right folks, that tab is titled “Fallout 4.” It’s official.
Bethesda has finally released their official trailer for Fallout 4. And it is beautiful.

THIS. So eagerly anticipating THIS. I had to wait through Bethesda’s clumsy foray into MMORPGs (ugh, what a disappointment that was), but it was worth it. The game looks gorgeous, and… yes, that was, in fact, the legendary Ron Perlman doing the narration. I just hope Eric Dellums (3-Dog) still has a part in it. I am so very excited to see the Boston Wastelands!
And what a shock to see Vault 111 involved! I wonder if they had a merry Christmas…
Now if only Projekt Red would finish Cyberpunk 2077, my life would be complete.
