Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham was recently released for a slew of consoles, including the Nintendo 3DS and Sony PS Vita. The differences between the 3DS and PSV versions are largely cosmetic, but it is interesting to take a look at the two side-by-side to accentuate the differences in just what these handhelds are capable of.

Murdered: Soul Suspect – PS4
In a world where First Person Shooters are the biggest thing and are only challenged sometimes by RPGs, an Action/Adventure title with heavy use of detective skills should be a shining beacon of hope. Fallout 3: Game of the Year Edition – PC
War. War never changes. Neither does my love for the massive, beautiful post-apocalypse sandwich that is the Fallout universe, and Fallout 3 in specific. High praise for an imperfect game is forthcoming.

Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham – 3DS
Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham is the latest installment in perhaps the most successful sub-series of Lego video games. Although not quite as progressive as its sister game Lego Marvel Super Heroes (released in 2013), it’s still a great game that illustrates what’s best about these offbeat titles: simple fun, lighthearted action, and oodles of replay value. This review focuses specifically on the 3DS version, which seems to have undergone various changes from its console counterparts.
