The Lord of the Rings: War in the North – PS3
Frodo and the Fellowship had a heck of an adventure in The Lord of the Rings. Bilbo Baggins had himself an exciting journey in The Hobbit. Can the new heroes in War in the North have a quest as epic as the ones created by J.R.R. Tolkien himself? Nerd Bacon’s all over that question in the review of The Lord of the Rings: War in the North.

The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons – Game Boy Color
Not all The Legend of Zelda games not developed by Nintendo were as bad as the CD-i trilogy, in fact, Capcom really shot it out of the park when they took on the task of developing Oracle of Seasons and Oracle of Ages. Seasons is an excellent example of a great series placed in the hands of a strong developer.

Shadowrun – Sega Genesis
Shadowrun uses some good graphics and a good story to reel in its player. Make wise choices though as you could be forever entwined in a battle to make your character strong enough to proceed through the halfway decent plot. Some cool guns, and some cool bad guys should keep you entertained enough to fulfill your enjoyment hole, at least long enough to get away from doing some chores!
