Battletoads – Sega Genesis
Battletoads is a game that will forever live in infamy for its unusually sinister difficulty. Ever beat the game? Then you ought to be given an award – something on par with the Nobel Peace Prize should to do. Anyway, this is a game that drives many to opposing sides; some love Battletoads, some can’t stand it. Earthworm Jim 2 – SNES
Earthworm Jim was a groundbreaking game in its day that has aged quite well, if I may say. With a unique look, stellar gameplay, and the perfect mix of humor with action elements, Jim was a contender for a new action star. Though his first game was a success, the fall that followed was monumental. And where did all this begin? Why, Earthworm Jim 2! What? Don’t believe me? Liked Earthworm Jim 2? Zelda II: The Adventure of Link – NES
Zelda II The Adventure of Link is typically the recipient of much undeserved criticism. Undue censure is bound to target anything that stands out from the crowd, and with that said it only makes sense that Zelda II would find itself in the crosshairs of the public eye. At the time, The Legend of Zelda had recently graced the Nintendo Entertainment System with substantial praise, so expectations were high. When Nintendo gave us something new and different, reactions were mixed. Some adored this fresh entry in the series, some reviled it. Whatever stance you take on the Zelda II debate, ZB would like a moment of your attention in order to discuss the finer points of Zelda II The Adventure of Link.
