Nerd Bacon is a fast-growing site devoted to the passion of videogaming. We’re made up of regular people playing our own games and bringing our uncensored thoughts to the world. Our dedicated and down-to-earth nature gives Nerd Bacon a unique flavor that sets us apart from similarly themed websites. Although we are a small website, we have steadily grown since our launch in January 2014 (official inception is August 2013) with over 1,000 distinct articles and just over 35 regular members who assist us in producing content.

We have reached a threshold where we feel that outside funding will act as our primary means of future expansion. In fact, the founders of Nerd Bacon plan to pocket exactly 0% of any advertising revenue and instead will use the increase in resources to primarily pay for technological improvements and the generation of quality content. Currently our circle of contributors is limited to those who have agreed to generously donate their time and effort, but with a paid member base we will be able to demand higher quality output as well as larger amounts of output which will in turn spark the interest of even more visitors. Some funds will also be allocated to advertising, a strategy that has, so far, driven significant traffic to the site when in effect.

Your dollars will help Nerd Bacon expand, improve, and gain visibility, meaning that as time goes on, even more people will see your ads on the site! It’s a win-win!
