[UPDATE] Xbox Elite Controller Announced – E3 2015

[UPDATE] Xbox Elite Controller Announced – E3 2015

Microsoft unveiled a massive amount of games and product today during their E3 2015 press conference. One new product unveiled today was a new Xbox One controller dubbed the “Elite Controller“. Don’t worry though, this doesn’t mean your controller is now useless. The new Elite Controller announced today is meant to be  a upgrade from the standard controller and is likely targeted to the hardcore gamers that want to customize their gameplay as much as humanly possible.

The new Elite Controller for Xbox One aims to give “pro level precision” that gives players “game-changing accuracy” when gaming. The Elite Controller will have removable and customizable components that will give the player the power to create the controller that is set to their specific preferences.

The Elite Controller will be compatible for the Xbox One and Windows 10. Microsoft hasn’t given any word on a release date or price tag just yet.

Update: The Elite Control will make its way into homes in October 2015 for the price of $149.99.
