I’m not sure where to begin or how much people care to know about me, but then again, you’re probably here more for the gaming and less for the socializing anyway. And sure, I would give some long speech about how I was born with the blood of a sabretooth and a gamer, or all of my favorite things, but I think that might bore you out a bit. So I’ll try to be as quick as possible with this.
Dr. Crocodile’s Entrance to the Bacon
As with the majority of people on here, I first learned of Nerd Bacon on Craigslist because I was looking for a new job. However, I didn’t immediately jump to apply to write because I thought it would wind up a passing fade, so I kinda just watched the site for a few months to get a feel of it. Eventually, I sat down and looked at the application and wrote up a few draft reviews for it. Then another month later, I just gave in and sent it in. Not even a day later I was welcomed in with open arms.
And here, not even four months later, I’m now the Bacon’s Editor and have reached Author status.
And did I mention one of my Bosses is a total babe?
Why the Doc Games
No…that’s a stupid question that I don’t have a stupid answer for…
Why the Doc Plays Mostly Handheld Games
I put in my Author’s Box that I’m Nerd Bacon‘s handheld maven, so I figured this would be a good time to explain that. When I was a little kid and games were still being released for the PlayStation and Nintendo 64, my Dad took a sledgehammer to my TV. I’m not joking either, he busted open my TV with a sledgehammer right in front of me. And, since I had no way of playing console games, I would spend most of my time on the handhelds. Of course, when I got a new TV, I still embraced the stuff like the GameCube, but most of my gaming collection grew to be handheld-related.
Speaking of gaming collections…..
