One More Trailer for Ori and the Blind Forest

One More Trailer for Ori and the Blind Forest

Microsoft released one last trailer today for the visually exquisite 2D platformer; Ori and the Blind Forest.

For those unfamiliar, Ori and the Blind Forest is a 2D action-platform game that has been in development for four years by Moon Studios. It features stunning hand-painted artwork, and a fully orchestrated score that work in tandem to deliver an emotional story about a young orphan, fighting to save his home.

Ori and the Blind Forest is said to take some of its design inspiration from classics like Super Metroid, and the Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. In an interview with IGN during last year’s E3, Ori and the Blind Forest’s lead Designer, Thomas Mahler said that  he wanted people to “feel the same way that they did when they played those classics.”

Ori and the Blind Forest launches this Wednesday, March 11th on Xbox One and PC, and will retail for $19.99.

Are you ready to enter the world of Ori and the Blind Forest? Show us your 2D love in the comments section below.
