Mirror’s Edge Catalyst Leaps To A Later Release Date
We’re going to have to wait a bit longer for the return of Mirror’s Edge.
Senior Producer at DICE, Sara Jansson announced via the official Mirror’s Edge website that the upcoming reboot, Mirror’s Edge Catalyst has been delayed until May 24th, 2016.
Jansson cited a need for more time in order to make Mirror’s Edge Catalyst, and the City of Glass which serves as the backdrop for the game, as “entertaining, impressive, and memorable as it can be.”
“We set out to create a vast city to explore, full of stunning vistas, majestic skyscrapers, and mysterious tunnels. We’re building the most immersive action-adventure game with fluid movement and combat in first person.” Jansson said. “Thank you again for your patience and support. Keep the Faith.”
Mirror’s Edge Catalyst had originally been scheduled for a release in February of 2016 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
