Mirror’s Edge 2 is Now Mirror’s Edge: Catalyst – E3 2015

Mirror’s Edge 2 is Now Mirror’s Edge: Catalyst – E3 2015

Finally. That is all I can say. It has been a long time since I have been excited for a game this much. The much anticipated reboot of 2008’s Mirror’s Edge. Originally believe to be a sequel, Mirror’s Edge: Catalyst will serve as a reboot of the series and will focus more on Faith’s past, the main protagonist from the first game. Beyond that EA has been keeping details on Catalyst close to the vest, merely stating that Catalyst will be an “open-world adventure.”

While Catalyst has been teased over the last few years, with the game’s official announcement at E3 2013 and an initial gameplay clip at E3 2014, this year Catalyst has finally been unveiled.

If it is true that the trailer for Catalyst was indeed filmed with all in game footage, I will absolutely be blown away. EA has really outdone themselves with their Frostbite 3 game engine.

Now when will be able to get our own hands on Mirror’s Edge: CatalystCatalyst will be available in player’s hands February 23rd, 2016 on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Microsoft Windows.

Be sure to check out Mirror’s Edge: Catalyst E3 trailer, all filmed with the in game engine and mechanics. Mirror’s Edge: Catalyst is pure EA beauty.
