Personally, I think this is a better alternative than a four month suspension.

Just like in reality, Luis Suarez will be serving a suspension period in EA Sports’ FIFA 15.

After chewing on an Italian during the World Cup, Suarez was banned from soccer for four months. Apparently Suarez has a history for mistaking other players as a delicious meal because this incident from the World Cup marked the third time that Suarez has chomped on someone.

In response to FIFA banning Suarez from playing actual soccer matches, EA banned him in game. That’s right, Suarez won’t be available in career mode . . . that is until October 26. Players who selected Barcelona in career mode where given a message from the club’s chief executive saying that to “Please be aware that Luis Suarez is serving a suspension and will not be available for selection until 26 October 2014.” Once his suspension is over in-game, Suarez will then become available again for players.

And to think that I was really looking forward to the new biting animations in FIFA 15.
