Final Fantasy VII Minigame Remade for Mobile – E3 2014

Final Fantasy VII Minigame Remade for Mobile – E3 2014

Final Fantasy VII is one of the most critically acclaimed and beloved games of all time, and fans have clamored for a remake ever since hardware more powerful than the original PlayStation was released. I have futile hope every E3 that the “Final Fantasy VII Remake” will become reality. Looks like they’ve decided to remake a piece of it. Final Fantasy VII G-Bike has officially been announced by Square Enix for iOS and Android.

Based on the escape from Shinra HQ in the first disc of FF7, and the mini game from the Golden Saucer, Final Fantasy VII G-Bike puts players in the role of Cloud as he dispatches monsters while on his bike, taking tight turns and jumps all the while. The Youtube description promises RPG elements, such as increasing stats over time by playing, collecting items, and customizing the appearance of Cloud and presumably his weapon and bike. Cloud takes down several wolves in the trailer while hunting a boss enemy, the Behemoth. It’ll be interesting to see what enemies from the classic game make it into Final Fantasy VII G-Bike and exactly how deep the customization and leveling up go.

No release date or window was detailed for this FF7 spin off, but we’ll be sure to let you know when there  is one.
