EA was kind enough to show off a tasty little morsel of footage for the next chapter in the Mass Effect saga today at their E3 2016 press event.

Although not a whole lot was shown, what we do know is that Mass Effect: Andromeda will represent a fresh start for the saga, featuring all new characters, locations, and a brand new story.

It could also be surmised, based off the end of the footage shown today, that Mass Effect: Andromeda will focus on a female protagonist, although you will likely be able to create your own character, as in the previous editions of Mass Effect.

No other details were released regarding Mass Effect: Andromeda, however they did say that more info on the game will be coming sometime in the fall.
