You remember Sim City? That’s probably the best description for the City Builder genre. Well, honestly, the genre name itself is very telling of the genre.

City Builder genre is typically any kind of game in which the player acts as a city planner and in most cases, its leader. As the planner, you are responsible for placement of the buildings, salaries of the workers, and more. The angle is typically top-down, but this is not a requirement. As the leader, you watch your city grow and the satisfaction is overwhelming when you’re running an awesome city with little crime!
