Genre – Arcade-Style
Arcade-Style Genre encompasses all games that are either ported from the arcade or created in an arcade-style. The arcade style generally follows a similar pattern, depending on the specific genre within the arcade-style. Arcade style racing generally has a number of time-clocks, such as picking your vehicle in under 10 seconds, picking a track in under 10 seconds, reaching a checkpoint in under X seconds, etc.
Some Arcade-style games are straight ports from previous arcade games, such as Strikers 1945, in which you will notice things like “insert coins” and “credits” during gameplay.
