Link Is Looking Good in The Legend Of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes – E3 2015
The Legend of Zelda is set to return this year with The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes, which was announced earlier today during the E3 2015 Nintendo Direct.
The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes is a new cooperative title set in The Legend of Zelda universe that is coming out this year for the Nintendo 3DS, and may remind players of a previous Nintendo GameCube title, The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures, which released in 2004.
Series Producer Eiji Aonuma and The Legend of Zelda: Tri /Force Heroes Director Hiromasa Shikata spoke about their desire to focus on multi-player cooperation to take on some of the elements such as puzzle solving and dungeon exploration of the Zelda series. This focus on cooperation has led them to develop what is called the Totem Mechanic. Players will have to stack one on top of another in order to make their way through the various challenges found in the game.
Although Aonuma and Shikata wanted to focus on series elements of the gameplay, that doesn’t mean that The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes is devoid of the series’ trademark humor. In fact, this new The Legend of Zelda adventure was describes as having a similar aesthetic to more light-hearted takes on the series, such as The Legend of Zelda: Minish Cap
The Legend of Zelda Tri Force Heroes is set on what was described as a fashion conscious island, so collecting and utilizing different costumes will play a big role in the game. New costumes will grant players a range of different abilities. A dress, for example, may make it easier to find hearts or items. The courses can offer different challenges depending on what outfits you are wearing.
Players are also forced to share the same heart meter during the game, so you will have to resist the urge to mess with your friends by throwing them off cliffs and really focus on working together to conquer the different challenges.

The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes will launch exclusively on the Nintendo 3DS in the fall of 2015.
