Legend Of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D Announced – Nintendo Direct

Legend Of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D Announced – Nintendo Direct

Nintendo today finally announced a 3Ds/2DS remake of The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask, as part of a Nintendo Direct presentation.

Nintendo President Satoru Iawata, who looked thinner following a recent health scare, told the Nintendo faithful that Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask would retain it’s trademark difficulty, while remaining accessible for players new to the game.

Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask saw its original release on the Nintendo 64 back in 2000 and fans have been hoping for a 3DS remake ever since the release of the Legend of Zelda Ocararina of Time 3D released alongside the Nintendo 3Ds.

Nintendo took the time in today’s presentation to talk about some of the other offerings that they have on tap into spring of 2015.

A new trailer showcasing some of the 70 plus stages was released for Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker, as well as a new look at the upcoming DLC for Mario Kart 8.

New footage was revealed for Kirby and the Rainbow Curse which will have an all new multi-player mode and will hit Wii U in February 2015.

A surprise was also waiting for Super Smash Bros fans. Everyone who ever wanted to take their Duck Hunt frustrations out on that jerk dog who would always laugh at you when you missed a shot will finally get their chance this year. Duck Hunt Dog will be a playable character in the eagerly anticipated brawler, and the classic light-gun game will also be making its debut on the Wii U virtual console.

Iawata showed some new footage of Xenoblade Chronicles X and discussed the games updated questing feature along with the city of New Los Angeles. New release date was given though.

Finally, a new trailer for Splatoon was shown and Iwata announced that the game would come out in the second quarter of 2015 for Wii U.

Nintendo went through a lot of info in the 33 minute presentation, show be sure to check it out for yourself down below.
