Xenoblade Chronicles X Finally Has a Release Date – E3 2015

RPG fans who own a Wii U have a new item to add to their Christmas list this year, with the announcement of a release date for Xenoblade Chronicles X during today’s E3 2015 Nintendo Direct.

Xenoblade Chronicles X is the sequel to the cult-classic Wii title, Xenoblade Chronicles, which saw a limited release exclusively at GameStop retailers in the U.S. in 2012. The Xenoblade series features a unique battle system that combines combat elements of MMO games with classic JRPG design characteristics to create a fast, fluid, and engaging role-playing experience. Players can also take control of giant mechanized robots in order to fight their way across a massive open-world environment.

Xenoblade Chronicles X takes place after the events of its predecessor and follows a group of humans fighting for survival on a distant planet after the destruction of the Earth.

An online element will allow Xenoblade Chronicles X players to form squads an battle ultra powerful bosses, as well as trade info on what items and enemies they have come across during their play.

Xenoblade Chronicles X is on schedule for a December 4th, 2015 release date, exclusively for the Nintendo Wii U.

Stay tuned to NerdBacon for more info on Xenoblade Chronicles X, as well as all the biggest news from E3 2015 which you can find right here.
