Warning! A New Foe Has Appeared! Mid-Shelf Gaming

Welcome to Mid Shelf Gaming on Nerd Bacon! First and foremost – GO SUBSCRIBE to the Mid Shelf channel right meow!

Secondlylet’s learn a little about the squad. Mid Shelf Gaming is comprised of three passionate reviewers with the goal of bringing high quality video game reviews and content straight to your eyeballs. Their episodes are geared towards a more review-oriented approach, but they like to have fun too! Anything from Atari to Switch, they play it all!

Mid Shelf Gaming started in January of 2019 and they have published various reviews from all ages of gaming. Episode topics range from genre / console specific focus to fun irreverent themes. Join Ryan, Edwin, and Will as they journey through gaming history and present some fan-favorites and lesser known games that rock!

Who is Mid Shelf Gaming?

Ryan is the oldest, and some might say wisest, member of Mid Shelf Gaming. He is also heard frequently on the Third Impact Anime Podcast. His favorite console is the Nintendo GameCube and he can’t get enough of Paper Mario and Zelda. And he just won’t shut up about Fire Emblem (much to the others’ dismay).

Edwin is most well-known within our group for having the most obscure titles and peripherals in his collection. Until recently, he also took pride in having covered a different console for every game he reviewed. He loves the Dreamcast and calls it “under-loved.” When he’s not trying to sell us on motion-based rhythm games, he’s always surprising us with what he’s playing next.

Will is definitely the Sony fanboy of the group. His favorite console is actually the Super Nintendo and he has a passion for the Super Scope. When not doing Mid Shelf videos, he’s constantly trying to conquer his mountain of backlog, but that doesn’t stop him from buying too many JRPGs he’s never going to have time to play.

Strength in Variety

And there’s your Mid Shelf Gaming Team! Their wildly individual tastes and interests lend a unique voice to their collaborative efforts. Nerd Bacon is proud to welcome this eclectic team to the fold!
