Sonic is a name that is nearly synonymous with so many aspects of video game history, from the 16-bit console wars to famous mascots. He is a beloved character that has won a place in the hearts of millions. When Sonic was king. And now, ZB is going to take it all the way back to the beginning, when the famous blue hedgehog burst onto the scene. We’re talking the first Sonic the Hedgehog for Sega Genesis. Is it the perfect shining gem of a game we have all thought it to be? Or is it possible that the first entry was nothing more than a brief blue streak on the board of gaming achievements? Find out in this review of Sonic the Hedgehog!
