Diablo – PC

If you’ve played anything from Baldur’s Gate all the way up to the Borderlands series, you’re playing games that owe much of their existence to the genre standards introduced by Blizzard’s Diablo back in 1996. When it was released, it redefined the way we look at western-style action RPGs, and its impact is still felt today. Join me as I delve into the desecrated church once more to remind us of this timeless classic’s true power!

Diablo 3 – PlayStation 4

Diablo 3 is a fun game on its own merits as a hack-and-slash RPG, but playing it solo doesn’t do it justice. I can say that after playing many hours both solo and cooperatively. If you are looking for a good single player game, I’d probably recommend something else, though if cooperative games are on the menu for you, Diablo 3 is a good choice. Its availability on the consoles makes the game open to many more players.
