As a fan of the hit 80’s cartoon Inspector Gadget, ZB would have been remiss had he not at least tried the Super Nintendo game. So that is exactly what he did. Zool 2 – Atari Jaguar
This is one of the best 2-D ninja goose-and-lamp murdering platformers I’ve ever encountered. But back in 1994, “64-bits” were supposed to look like a bunch of yucky polygons. A safe distance from the ’90s, does ‘Zool 2’ hold up? This reviewer thinks it’s a damn fine pepperoni pizza.

Blake Stone: Aliens of Gold – PC
Blake Stone: Aliens of Gold is a first-person shooter built from the Wolfenstein 3D engine by JAM Productions and published by Apogee Software. It plays very much like its parent title with a few upgrades and a scenery shift, but does it hold up beyond the weight of nostalgia? Buy a candy bar and some ammo as we chase Dr. Goldfire through every single one of his hidden treasure rooms!
