Or worse, to play the most recent software update of your favorite video game?! I like to think they wouldn’t do this to gamers, but it is a thought. And how expensive would it be to upgrade your machine and how many upgrades will it require over time? Do I swap out the hardware myself or pay someone else to do it to avoid warranty issues? Kinda defeats the purpose of console gaming if you ask me.
