Legend Of Zelda: Breath of The Wild Might Be Winning E3 – E3 2016

Legend Of Zelda: Breath of The Wild Might Be Winning E3 – E3 2016

After witnessing hours of game announcements and demonstrations via various internet streams, most titles from any given E3 start to slowly blend together, combining to form a great cacophony of noise.

With so many games that are vying for attention, it’s a fair question to ask which one is standing out the most.

That answer appears to be Nintendo’s the Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

According to research done by BrandWatch.com, Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is crushing all other contenders, garnering over 75,000 social media hits. Its closest rival, Battlefield 1 has yet to cross the 50,000 hit threshold.

So what does this all mean?

Right now it means that people like Legend of Zelda, and the series still garners a lot of attention.

What it could mean in the future (and this is purely speculation on my part) is that Nintendo may have made a very wise decision in choosing to release Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild as a launch title for their next console, NX.

What better way to create excitement around your new console’s launch, then to have the most talked about game from E3 as a debut title?

You can read all about our impressions of Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild right here.

Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will be out on both the Nintendo Wii U and NX in 2017.
