Footage of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate from EVO 2018

Okay, we know what you’ve all been waiting for – Super Smash Bros. Ultimate footage!

We got a chance to check out a couple of matches from the upcoming Super Smash Bros. Ultimate during EVO 2018. We can safely say that any Smash fan who is worried about what direction the latest title in the series is taking can rest easy – Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is the ultimate Smash experience.

As we have noted before, the game definitely feels faster than Smash on Wii U – feeling like a bridge between the beloved Super Smash Bros. Melee, and the Wii U versions.

Graphics have received an expected bump up in quality thanks to the move to the Switch. Everything has a crisp feel to it making Super Smash Bros. Ultimate a pleasure to view.

Check out our off screen footage of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, as well as our impressions that immediately followed our play time.
