Evo 2017 Returns To Vegas In July

Evo 2017 Returns To Vegas In July

The most prestigious fighting game tournament in the world, the Evolution Fighting Game Championship (also known as Evo, for short.) is returning to Las Vegas, Nevada on July 14th – 16th, 2017.

The entirety of the Evo 2017 weekend will be held at the conference centers at the Mandalay Bay hotel and casino. The venue also has a massive, 12,000 seat arena within its confines, which will play host to the Sunday Grand Finals events for a number of games showcased during the event.

Titles that will be featured as part of Evo 2017 have not been named yet, although it’s safe to assume that favorites like Street Fighter V and Super Smash Bros. Melee will be shoe-in’s.

Last year, the Evo tournament made its inaugural debut at the Mandalay Bay Events Center; featuring a main event of the top 8 of the Street Fighter V championship’s, which was broadcast globally on ESPN2.

NerdBacon will keep you up to date on more info on Evo 2017 as it becomes available.
