Daemon X Machina Brings Mech Action to the Nintendo Switch – E3 2018
Nintendo kicked off their E3 2018 Nintendo Direct presentation Tuesday morning with perhaps, the only surprise of the entire morning – an announcement for a brand mech action game titled Daemon X Machina.
Brought to us by Kenichiro Tsukuda, the man who was responsible for numerous titles in the celebrated Armored Core series, Daemon X Machina is described as a fast-paced action title featuring fully customizable mechs known as “Arsenal’s”. Each one of these Arsenal’s can be equipped with a variety of weapons, many of which can be lifted from fallen opposition Arsenals.
Action in Daemon X Machina will also take place on both land and in the air, reminding us a lot of one of our favorite series’ of all time, Zone of the Enders!
Working alongside Mr. Tsukuda will be Yusuke Kozaki, who worked as a character designer for Fire Emblem Fates, and Mr. Kawamori, who provided mech designs for the Armored Core and Super Dimension Fortress Macross series.
Daemon X Machina certainly took us by surprise during Nintendo’s E3 presentation, so hopefully we will learn more about it as E3 2018 progresses.
Nintendo Switch owners can look forward to Daemon X Machina’s release sometime in 2019.
Does the idea of piloting a mech through the blistering fast action of Daemon X Machina sound like your idea of a good time? Let us know in the comments section below.
