Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham – 3DS
Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham is the latest installment in perhaps the most successful sub-series of Lego video games. Although not quite as progressive as its sister game Lego Marvel Super Heroes (released in 2013), it’s still a great game that illustrates what’s best about these offbeat titles: simple fun, lighthearted action, and oodles of replay value. This review focuses specifically on the 3DS version, which seems to have undergone various changes from its console counterparts.

Mario Kart 8 3.0 (DLC) – Wii U
The latest update to Mario Kart 8, officially rendering it “ver. 3.0,” adds 3 new characters, 4 new karts, and 8 new courses. Additions include Link, courses themed with elements from F-Zero, Excitebike, and The Legend of Zelda. An unquestionably worthwhile update to anyone’s Mario Kart 8 experience!
