Original Grey PlayStation 4

NerdBacon author and PlayStation fanatic ChronoSloth was lucky enough to get his hands on the 20th Anniversary Original Grey PlayStation 4. Details on the design and a picture of number 7,081 of 12,300 await after the jump.

NES QuickShot Flight Grip

Talk about a terribly awful gaming peripheral… The QuickShot Flight Grip “controller” will cramp your hands and cramp your style all at the same time. It will make your gaming experiences extremely lame and you’ll cry… a lot.

NES QuickShot Joystick

The QuickShot Joystick was a neat little accessory for the Nintendo Entertainment System. One of its best features was the suction cups on the base of the unit allowing vigorous gameplay while infuriated with its other shitty features.

NES Satellite

Nerd Bacon knows a cool thing when we see it, and the NES Satellite is pretty cool. Released in 1989, the NES Satellite accessory gives gamers the ability to sit up to 20 feet from their console as well as hooking up 4 controllers for games that have 4-player support. Did we mention that the NES Satellite has A and B button turbo controls?! Read more on the NES Satellite here!

Sega Dreamcast

I was never into the Sega Saturn.  It was sort of alien to me even though my neighbor would ultimately get one.  It just didn’t have the clout, nor did it have any power behind the formidable Sony PlayStation and Nintendo 64 systems.  I remember the date specifically, as the Sega Dreamcast was fortunately being… Continue reading Sega Dreamcast

GameShark 4.0 (for the PlayStation)

If you’ve read even one or two of my reviews for “older” games, you know that I’m a big fan of cheat devices, ahem, game enhancers, to get me through many of these impossible titles.  As video games evolved, so did these enhancers.  No longer a bulky unit stepping in between cartridge and console, the GameShark might be… Continue reading GameShark 4.0 (for the PlayStation)
