TMNT III: The Manhattan Project – NES
While the first TMNT game for the NES received a decidedly mixed response, Konami hit on a winning formula with TMNT II and continued the beat ’em up format into the third installment, The Manhattan Project. There may not be any radically improved graphics or sophisticated mechanics in this sequel, but it is a solid beat ’em up for the NES with an energetic and fast-paced feel.

TMNT: Tournament Fighters – SNES
The fighting game Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Tournament Fighters came in 3 distinct editions – one each for the NES, Super NES, and Genesis. Which is the best? I’m not sure just yet, but here we take a look at the SNES port, released during a time when TMNT was at its peak and the fighting game boom was just gaining momentum.

Digging deep into nerdom, I take a look a deck I created for Magic the Gathering which I dubbed Eldrazi Family Reunion. The idea was to use as many Eldrazi as possible along with a basic Tooth and Nail strategy to put them on the field quickly. Anyone interested in MtG or those that might have enough card knowledge to answer some of my questions should definitely give this a read!
