Mega Man has some of the most memorable and tough 8bit boss fights out there. Fortunately, the player is allowed to use acquired weapons as weaknesses in order to gain a huge advantage in these fights. But what would it be like for Mega Man to tackle all 46 NES Robot Masters with only his Buster? No 2x to 5x damage advantages here, just grueling challenges where many of the Robot Masters require 28 shots before going down. Pretty crazy when you consider there are several Robot Masters that can take out Mega Man in as little as 3 to 6 shots.
Mega Man is a challenging series that gives the player life-lines in the form of health replenishing E-Tanks and upgraded weaponry.
But today, we forgo any advantages, as we countdown the Top 20 hardest Robot Masters in Mega Man 1-6 on NES. Obtaining this footage on an original NES without any save states or nonsense didn’t come easily! I’m excited, and I hope that you are too.
