Relax with Go Vacation – Coming to Nintendo Switch in July

Nintendo woke everyone up with a little surprise Thursday morning with the announcement of Go Vacation for the Nintendo Switch.

The title, a re-release of a 2011 game of the same name developed by Bandai Namco, lets you and a number of Mii characters take a relaxing journey to Kawaii Island, where they can participate in up to 50 different activities either solo, or with a friend.

Activities shown in the trailer included skiing, a batting range, horse racing, tennis, and a plethora of others.

Go Vacation’s island paradise is divided up into four geographical sections for players to explore and games will be themed around those sections. So skiing and other winter sports would be in the Snow Resort section, hang gliding would be in the Mountain Resort section, etc.

Nintendo also says that players will be able to find collectibles, level up and customize their character as they participate in the vast variety of Go Vacation’s activities.

Go Vacation is due out on the Nintendo Switch on July 27th.

Are you ready to check out Kawaii Island when Go Vacation boards your Switch? Let us know in the comments section below.
