First Gameplay of Assassin’s Creed Origins Revealed – E3 2017

First Gameplay of Assassin’s Creed Origins Revealed – E3 2017

After taking a full year off to regroup and retool, the Assassin’s Creed series finally has returned!

Ubisoft gave us our first trailer and gameplay demo of Assassin’s Creed: Origins Sunday, during Microsoft’s E3 2017 event.

Pretty much every rumor that has surrounded the game in the past few months were confirmed to be true. It takes place in ancient Egypt, the main character is named Bayek, ship battles play a part in the game, etc. While the setting of Assassin’s Creed: Origins may not have been much of a surprise, that’s no reason to discount the game.

Exploration, combat; pretty much every mechanic that has become second-nature in an AC game has been re-examined for Assassin’s Creed: Origins. What we got to see looked much more advanced than previous entries in the series, with RPG elements, sneaking, ala-Metal Gear Solid, and even new boss battles.

Take a look for yourself at the footage below,

Assassin’s Creed: Origins will be making its way to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on October 27th.

Be sure to check out the rest of NerdBacon’s E3 2017 coverage right here!
