Quantic Dream has been known for developing some of the most interesting titles available for the PlayStation 3.

Their previous efforts, Heavy Rain and Beyond Two Souls, played out as forms of an interactive digital novel, with the player being forced to make choices that would have consequences throughout the rest of the story.

Today the developers have shown shown new footage of their latest title, Detroit Become Human, during Sony’s E3 2016 conference.

The title places you in the shoes of a highly intelligent law enforcement negotiation android named Conner.

The trailer for Detroit Become Human centered on Conner as he arrived on the scene of a hostage stand-off with a “deviant”android that had turned rogue and was holding the young daughter of a woman captive.

The choices that Conner makes in his reasoning with the deviant droid determines the fate that each of them will have.

The trailer showcased a number of intense possible outcomes that could occur in the course of Detroit Become Human’s story.

No release date was given, however we expect that it won’t be available until sometime in 2017.
