Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants In Manhattan Will Rumble In May

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants In Manhattan Will Rumble In May

The legendary “heroes in a half-shell” are ready to take the fight to Manhattan.

A new trailer released to news outlet IGN proclaims that the upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan will be available on May 24th, 2016.

The trailer shows off the patented Turtle Teamwork that we have come to love in the TMNT franchise as the foursome square-off against iconic Foot Clan bosses, Beebop and Rocksteady. The end of the trailer also gives us our first glimpse at the always fearsome head of the Foot Clan, Shredder.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan is being developed by Platinum Games, who have been very busy lately with recent hits Bayonetta 2 in 2014 and Transformers: Devastation in 2015. They have also partnered with Nintendo to help develop the upcoming Star Fox Zero, which will be landing on the Wii U later this year.

IGN also sat down with the publisher for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan, Activision, to discuss the game and provide an 11 minute demo of the Turtles in action. The big take away’s from that demo are that combat focuses on the ability to switch between the different Turtles at will, even in the middle of a combo. So the fun of the game will be centered around perfecting your ninja skills, as well as creating graceful and insanely long combo strings that utilize all of the Turtles.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan will be out on May 24th, 2016 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC.

Think you got what it takes to defeat the Foot Clan when Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan hits this spring? Power up with some pizza and comments in the comments section below.
