Free Bloodborne Theme Rewarded to Interactive Trailer Viewers

Free Bloodborne Theme Rewarded to Interactive Trailer Viewers

A new “choose your own adventure” style trailer for the upcoming PlayStation 4 exclusive, Bloodborne, has been released. Viewers who replay the preview and exhaust the list of choices are given a code to download a free Bloodborne theme for their PS4. The static theme resembles the box art for the game, with a view of the protagonist from behind as well as the game’s logo. Though the theme doesn’t feature custom music or sound effects, it’s the best way to dress your PlayStation 4 in celebration of this month’s most anticipated release.

The Bloodborne Experience allows players to choose a variety of options as they watch the trailer, starting with single player vs multiplayer, and then onto what location you’d like to see the hunt take place, and what weapon you’ll take on mini and full bosses with. Besides the Bloodborne theme and the novelty of the choices, the trailer shows some impressive gameplay in three different gorgeously ghastly areas. The gameplay shown in the graveyard not only awes with its visuals and gameplay, but evokes the loneliness and hostility of Resident Evil 4 with its atmosphere and shrieking, violent villagers. The weapons shown include hammers, whips, swords, guns, and the now iconic saw-cleaver as seen wielding by the protagonist from most trailers and the box art.

If you want to spare yourself from being spoiled on a few bosses, weapons, locations and go into Bloodborne fresh, of if you’re just too lazy to explore the entire interactive, we have the North American code for you here.

Enter this into the PlayStation Store on March 11th and receive your free Bloodborne theme to prepare yourself for its launch on March 24. Also, stay tuned to Nerd Bacon for more news on Bloodborne, and our review later this month.

*If you have any trouble viewing the trailer, try back later. Apparently it’s buckling under the pressure of so many visits. Seems like there are plenty of PlayStations 4 and/or Souls fans dying for the newest look at the game.
