Volume 2: Soundtracks

Volume 2: Soundtracks

After going through 40 of my favorites from the 1990’s, I would like to briefly turn my attention to a few soundtracks that I couldn’t live without back then.  As a general rule, I’ve tried to stay away from compilations, great hits, and the like but sometimes these sorts of releases give us songs that aren’t available anywhere else.  And, as a teenager who grew up on the cusp of the digital age, soundtracks could be important sources of new exposure.

The 90’s produced a slew of hard rock oriented soundtracks, many of these standing as excellent compilations of their own irrespective of the quality of the movie.  I’ve tried to keep this sub-series short, narrowing down my favorites to a mere 6 soundtracks.
