Yakuza Remake, Yakuza Kiwami Gets a Release Date and Price with New Trailer – E3 2017

Yakuza Remake, Yakuza Kiwami Gets a Release Date and Price with New Trailer – E3 2017

Unveiled at E3 2017 was a trailer for the word-wide release of Yakuza Kiwami, a remake of the first Yakuza game, released in Japan a year ago for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4. This western release of Yakuza Kiwami, however, will be limited to the PlayStation 4.

Beyond the very obvious and fantastic visual upgrades, Yakuza Kiwami will include plenty of bonus content and other upgrades, including new cut-scenes to tie into Yakuza 0, ridiculous distractions such as MesuKing: Battle Bug Beauties, side quests, Yakuza 0‘s combat system, and more.

As shown in the new trailer, Yakuza Kiwami will include new random fights with rival Goro Majima called “Majima Everywhere,” which, according to Sega’s own description, will be;

…”popping out of a goofy costume” levels of surprise…

Just take a look for yourself!

Yakuza Kiwami will be popping out on August 29th, 2017, both physically (including a Steelbook edition) and digitally on the PlayStation Store, all for the low price of $29! Perfect if you’re looking for something to hold you over until Yakuza 6: The Song of Life‘s release in 2018!
